'Ruk’u’x Ulew' Guatemalan 100% Organic Ceremonial Grade Cacao

This is a very special artisan premium grade Ceremonial Cacao, grown in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, and processed in San Marcos la laguna, on the shores of Lake Atitlan. The collective is 100% Mayan-owned, all indigenous women, and you can really taste the love they put into it!

Cecilia, the creator of this collective, was given the name Ruk'u'x Ulew [Roo-Koosh-Ouh-Leh-Ou] by the fire spirits as the name for her cacao business. It is a word from her native language, Kaqchikel, and translates as ‘Heart of The Earth’. She feels this not only honours her Mayan culture and ancestry but also relays her belief that cacao is a divine representation of the ‘Heart of The Earth.’

My spiritual experience with this cacao when working with it ceremonially - definitely the most feminine and gentle loving cacao energy I have ever worked with, like a warm healing hug from Grandmother. My first cup was deeply soothing, I meditated deeply for 40 minutes without wanting to move or think, just a feeling of surrender to the deep love moving through me and healing me. A profoundly feminine vibration, I choose this cacao when I want to rest, to relax, to heal, to step out of my head and into my heart. These are solid blocks of delicious pure cacao, very smooth and a little bitter, with a really pure taste and texture. Individual blocks of 454g are £50.00 each, smaller portions are available for 200g for £25.00
